About Captain Spenser Kehoe & Fourth Generation Charters

As a sixth generation Floridian and a fourth generation charter captain, my love for the ocean and fishing came naturally to me. I was blessed at a very young age to learn the ropes from some of the best fisherman around and have retained that knowledge to share with the residents and visitors of Naples and Marco Island. I have fished as far west as 100 miles offshore for red snapper and as far east as the outer Bahamian Islands for marlin. Aside from leaving Naples to attend the University of Florida, I have been consistently fishing this area my entire life and am always excited to show clients what this beautiful area of Florida has to offer.

Whether you're chasing that trophy fish or just want to have a fun day of backwater fishing with your family, I have the knowledge and expertise to captain your adventure on the water. With insight to the best fishing in Naples, I would love an opportunity to show you the waters I call my backyard and make an everlasting memory to take home with you. Get in touch today to see what the best inshore fishing Naples and Marco Island have to offer.

Why Choose Fourth Generation Charters?

Lauris, Naples Resident

I've fished with Captain Spenser a dozen or so times over the past three years. We've caught multiple big Snook, Redfish and Tarpon. Spenser has bait at the pickup point. The pickup point is convenient to Naples which means less time traveling and more time on the water. Spenser is a positive, knowledgeable and fun guide who's great with kids. I highly recommend Captain Spenser.

To say that we found the perfect option would be an understatement. Captain Spenser not only knew how to work to find the fish, but was as professional, encouraging and kind as anyone I have ever met. Having done the full day (8 hour trip) we would easily do it again! A relaxing stop on the beach, a nice lunch at a waterfront restaurant, all while packing in some very exciting fishing made the day one of the best our family has ever had on the water.

I recently went inshore fishing with Spenser. Not only was he quick to respond, he also picked the best day to fish based on his knowledge of the tides and local conditions. We hit the water early and were on fish right from the beginning. It was just the two of us and I was able to catch 40 fish in the half-day trip! We caught loads of snook, a couple of grouper and a few red fish. Spenser was by far the best captain I have gone out with and I will be doing so again in the near future.

4 Hour

This is a fun trip aimed at getting in as much fishing as possible before returning to the dock. I will always head out early in the morning to catch bait before trips so we can start fishing soon after departure from the dock. This style trip involves fishing around the Naples/Rookery Bay area.

6 Hour

This is one of the better style fishing trips. This trip allows us the time to get further away from Naples and head way back into the mangroves to search for those hidden trophy fish while getting the full nature experience along the way.

8 Hour

This all-day trip is my favorite of the three. It allows your party to get the full fishing experience from Naples to Marco and back. This allows us to fish everything from near shore to deep into the mangroves. This trip is very flexible and has the option of stopping at a number of restaurants on the water for lunch and going to the beach at Keewaydin Island to look for shells and hop in the water.
